Aimme Connector Privacy Notice
Aimme Connector is a browser extension that lets an Aimme user run a user-initiated talent search or activate a recruiting campaign against sources that the user is already authorized to access in the same browser.
Data the extension processes
When the user starts a search or activates a campaign from Aimme, the extension may read professional information visible to that user on Maimai or BOSS Zhipin, such as a candidate name, current role, company, location, education, skills, work history, and profile link. Search text and approved outreach messages are also processed.
Authentication information
The extension does not request Chrome's Cookies or History permissions and does not collect recruiting-platform passwords, cookies, or authentication tokens. Those login credentials and session data are not sent to Aimme servers. For an activated background campaign, the extension stores a short-lived, connection-scoped Aimme worker token, its expiration time, and a generated worker identifier in Chrome extension storage.
How data is used
Results are returned to the open Aimme workbench in the same browser so the user can review them. Preview results may be cached locally by the Aimme web application. A candidate is transmitted to and stored in the user's Aimme account only when the user explicitly adds that candidate to a recruiting task. Aimme uses this information only to provide the recruiting search, candidate review, and matching features requested by the user.
Sharing and disclosure
Aimme Connector does not sell personal information, share profile information with advertising networks, or use it for advertising, credit scoring, lending, or unrelated analytics. Information may be processed by service providers that operate Aimme's hosting and storage infrastructure only to provide the requested Aimme service and subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Aimme may also disclose information when required by applicable law.
Security
Communication between the Aimme website, extension, and Aimme services uses HTTPS. The extension limits website access to declared Aimme, Maimai, and BOSS Zhipin origins. Aimme applies access controls and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Background activity
One-off searches require a user action in Aimme. After a user explicitly activates an L4 campaign, the extension may lease and execute that campaign's search and messaging actions in the background. Each search batch returns no more than 20 results. CAPTCHA, account warnings, rate limits, and platform restrictions stop the affected automation; the extension does not bypass those controls.
Retention and control
The extension does not maintain its own candidate database. Aimme automatically expires locally cached search previews after seven days. Users can remove the extension at any time, clear Aimme browser storage, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of data stored in their Aimme account by contacting Aimme under the details below.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Aimme Connector's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through the extension is used only to provide or improve the extension's single, user-facing recruiting-search purpose.
Third-party services
Aimme Connector is not affiliated with or endorsed by Maimai or BOSS Zhipin. Users are responsible for using each connected service in accordance with their account permissions, applicable contracts, and applicable law.
